Member Update

GSA welcomes many new members in 2005!

New GSA Members

GSA is pleased to announce that in early 2005 two of our member companies, Progressive Gaming and Rocket Gaming Systems, upgraded their membership to the Platinum level. Multimedia Games also has joined at the Platinum level. In addition to changes at the Platinum level, GSA welcomes Belatra Co., Ltd., as a new Gold member while Sankyo Seiki Mfg. Co., Melange Computer Services and Standing Stone Gaming have joined at the Silver level.

New to the GSA Website

GSA members should be noticing new features on the site! There is an addition in the committee section for the newly formed Architectural Oversight Committee (AOC) and an expanded calendar section that features GSA's trade show schedule and events for 2005. Members will find new marketing tools in the member's only area, and of course, a list of the services that GSA provides exclusively for its members.

GSA Road Show!

Do you think that the employees in your company need to be better educated about GSA's new standards and development suites? If your company is interested in scheduling an in-depth presentation at your office, exclusively for your staff, please contact GSA's Executive Director, Michelle Olesiejuk at michelleo@gamingstandards.com.

GSA BOB under the Hood Series

GSA has developed an in-depth technical session for EGM and system development organizations that will walk you through the intricacies of the BOB Protocol and it's Development Suite. The session is first targeted to product managers and development staff, and then gets more technical in nature (examine sample code) and so is more appropriate for technical development staff. There are sessions currently being planned for Europe, the East Coast, and also in conjunction with the GTS Tradeshow.Stay tuned for more information on these educational sessions!

Trainers: Ethan Tower, GameLogic and Russ Ristine, Ristine Associates.

Technical Committee Update

GSA will be releasing new versions of BOB 1.1 and S2S 1.1 in early April. BOB and GDS Toolkits will be released in late April, and of course, current versions of BOB, S2S and the GDS Toolkits are available now. For full details, please click HERE.

As GSA races into 2005, work is continuing on the release of development suites (toolkits) for use by implementers of GSA standards.
