GSA - A decade of building industry collaboration and friendships
GSA's first "official" meeting occurred in May 1998 in a small hotel of Flamingo Drive in Las Vegas. GAMMA announced its incorporation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit standard setting organization. GSA started with representatives of six companies on the board - Acres, Aristocrat, Bally, Mikohn, Sigma and Silicon Gaming. Today we have grown to more than 72 members worldwide and are recognized as the only standard setting organization focusing on casino gaming. It has been a challenging road. Today, however, the challenge is met and our standards are being embraced by the industry.

GSA at ICE 08
GSA’s booth at ICE 08 in London was quite busy with visitors who wanted to know all the latest details regarding GSA Standards. The attendees asked a variety of questions and were happy to speak with Marc McDermott, GSA's Technical Director and Peter DeRaedt, GSA’s President.
GSA's First European Technical Meetings
GSA's first European Technical Meetings were held in Graz, Austria during January 28th to the 31st. Atronic International hosted the meetings and over 35 participants from Europe and the United States attended the G2S, SAS, S2S and Transport Committees. GSA is in the beginning stages of planning another round of European Technical Meetings in the first quarter of 2009.
As 2008 begins the first quarter, GSA's technical committee chairs held elections for the upcoming year. The January Technical Meetings were held in Graz, Austria and were hosted by Atronic. This was our first European meeting and attendance was high.

Peter DeRaedt, GSA President will moderate a panel discussion regarding Networked Slot Floor of the Future at the Southern Gaming Summit in Biloxi, MS.
GSA at CasinoFest 6, May 12, 2008
Peter DeRaedt, GSA President will appear at the CasinoFest 6 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN. He will participate in a round table discussion regarding Open Protocols, Open Networks, Server Based Gaming and your casino.
