Managing a network of over 7,000 VLTs generating more than $400M in revenue annually across four provinces is Byron Bridger's responsibility as Atlantic Lottery's Director of Marketing for Destination Gaming.
Armed with Business degree in Marketing from Memorial University, Byron began his career with Atlantic Lottery as a research analyst moving on to become a brand analyst for the online category, then brand manager for video lottery, ultimately moving into management roles in gaming development and operations. A significant portion of his career has been spent working on strategic gaming initiatives for key Government stakeholders developing, implementing and ultimately operating gaming properties and networks throughout Atlantic Canada.
Most recently, Byron expanded his gaming operations expertise with greater involvement in the technical delivery of content for players overseeing the replacement of Atlantic Lottery's video lottery central system and the entire network of machines. With the technology shift now complete for Video Lottery, Byron's focus has now shifted to supporting Atlantic Lottery's technical revitalization on the Lottery and iLottery business leading a major system replacement project for this area of the company.
Byron has maintained a strong focus throughout his career on establishing mutually positive relationships with key vendors and stakeholders to ensure Atlantic Lottery is able to provide great player focused experiences into their market. Byron sits on the Gaming Standards Association Board and is an executive committee member of this organization.
